I was born and raised in Northern Colorado, and working with my hands has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. As a third-generation mechanic, I grew up learning how things work—not just how to fix them, but how to truly understand them. That foundation shaped the way I approach every project today.

Over the years, I’ve gained hands-on experience across a wide range of trades. I’ve worked with a custom pool builder, poured concrete foundations, apprenticed as a plumber, and served as a commercial jetter technician. I later became a licensed aircraft mechanic and worked in the aviation industry for six years, where precision, safety, and accountability are non-negotiable. During that time, I spent two years as a defense contractor for the Department of Defense in Afghanistan, supporting the U.S. Air Force—an experience that reinforced the importance of discipline, attention to detail, and doing the job right the first time.

Along the way, I earned numerous professional credentials, including a Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) license, among other prestigious certifications. I worked as a Certified Welding Inspector in the Oil & Gas industry for 11 years, further honing my ability to evaluate quality, safety, and long-term performance. I’ve also developed a deep passion for custom woodworking and never stopped being a general tinkerer at heart.

I’ve been taking things apart and putting them back together since early childhood, and that lifetime of experience gives me an instinctive ability to assess a problem, understand its root cause, and fix it the right way—not the quick way. Some of my most meaningful projects have been at home, where I’ve had the privilege of turning my wife Kelly’s ideas and dreams into real, tangible spaces in the house we love.

Outside of work, I’m a proud father of four incredible children and have been married to my lovely wife, Kelly, for 20 years as of November 2026. Family is at the core of everything I do, and it’s a big part of why I take such pride in helping others care for their homes.
